About:
The Department of Science & Humanities was established in 1984 and is headed by Prof. Mrs. Sundary S. Prabavathy. The department has committed faculties with rich teaching and research experiences.
The department is a foundation stone on which all the four branches of engineering courses offered by the institute stand. It has well equipped laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, Communications skills and Mathematics. The department always takes initiative in organizing number of activities like Fr. CRCE National level Annual Debate, Rotract Club, NSS, TEDx, Frag Mag (Annual Magazine), Inter-collegiate Sports and Technomania (Technical Festival).

This laboratory was established at the inception of the college. Laboratory is well equipped and dedicated to perform practicals of Applied Physics to all the branches of Engineering.

This laboratory was established at the inception of the college. Laboratory is well equipped and dedicated to perform practicals of Applied Chemistry to all the branches of Engineering.
Laboratory caters to necessary requirements of glassware and chemicals. Apart from this Instrumental facilities available in the laboratory are as follows:

Language Lab
Good communication skills are indispensable for the success of any professional. English language has become essential in the lives of young people who aspire to advance their career anywhere in the world. English language learning has therefore become a must for any Indian student today. Reading, writing, listening and speaking: This four skills have to be practiced thorougly. Being able to communicate well is the most important factor when seeking a placement in a company or institution.
Our language laboratory plays an important role in the language learning process. As it is a technological aid for learning, it has a number of advanced facilities that can help a student to learn a language with proficiency to communicate. The language laboratory is designed to assist learners in the acquisition and maintenance of aural comprehension, oral and written proficiency and cultural awareness.
