Professional Counseling Services
The college provides dedicated counseling services to support students’ academic success, emotional well-being, and personal development. The Counseling Cell is led by Ms. Manasi Hindlekar, M.Sc. Clinical Psychology, a qualified mental health professional with over five years of diverse experience across educational, maritime, and community-based settings.
With prior experience in the Merchant Navy sector and with non-governmental organizations (NGOs), Ms. Hindlekar brings a comprehensive understanding of resilience, adjustment challenges, and diverse psychosocial environments. Her work focuses on supporting young adults in managing academic stress, emotional concerns, interpersonal difficulties, and career-related decisions.
In addition to individual counseling, the Counseling Cell actively conducts classroom-based workshops and awareness sessions to reach a wider student population. These sessions aim to educate students about mental health, help them identify early signs and symptoms of emotional distress, reduce stigma, and encourage timely help-seeking behavior.
