Society of St. Francis Xavier, Pilar’s Fr. Conceicao Rodrigues College of Engineering
Outreach programmes play a significant role in bridging the gap between academic learning and industry requirements. In today’s rapidly evolving technological landscape, it is essential for students to gain exposure to emerging tools, platforms, and real-world applications beyond the traditional curriculum. These programmes provide students with opportunities to learn from reputed national and international organizations, develop practical skills, and stay updated with the latest technological advancements in areas such as geospatial technology, cloud computing, and digital skills. Such initiatives enhance students’ employability, encourage innovation, and prepare them to meet global industry standards.
The primary objective of conducting these outreach programmes is to provide students with advanced knowledge and hands-on exposure to cutting-edge technologies through collaborations with reputed organizations like ISRO, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Google. These programmes aim to enhance students’ technical competencies, promote skill development in areas such as cloud computing, geospatial technologies, and digital tools, and encourage them to pursue research and innovation. Additionally, the programmes intend to create awareness about industry expectations, strengthen problem-solving abilities, motivate them to pursue professional certifications that strengthen their career prospects.
